These 5-days will be spent focusing on how to communicate with your horse using your body and aids on the ground and in the saddle.

This five-day clinic will be an in-depth study on using the rider’s body and the aids to effectively communicate with the horse in a language he understands.

Each of the first four days will focus on a single piece of the language. Day five will put it all together.

Mornings will be spent in group arena sessions. There will be exercises/activities designed to indicate progress. Private and semi-private sessions in the afternoon will provide further practice. All participants attend and take notes at each session.

Details

The goal for this clinic: An In-Depth Study of “Being Particular” and “Everything is the Same”.

  • Day 1 - Rein Management

  • Day 2 - Understanding Leads and Body Position

  • Day 3 - Proper Leg Cues

  • Day 4 - Seatbones as Cues

  • Day 5 - Putting it All Together

* During each session, there will be exercises/activities designed to indicate if proficiency has been obtained. Private and semi-private sessions in the afternoon will provide further practice. All participants attend each session.

  • Limited to 6 Participants

  • Covered arena.

  • Bring a bagged lunch/snacks.

  • Restrooms On-Site

  • Primitive Camping Available

  • Bottled Water Provided

  • Please plan to bring your own shavings, hay, buckets, feed pans, and feed. Pick stalls out daily. Please leave stalls as they were found.

Fees

Participant Fee: $1000 (paid to RPH)
*A $200 deposit required to reserve spot. Balance is due 30 days before clinic.

  • Audit Fee: Free

  • Facility Fee: $100 for all 5 days (paid to the facility)

  • Stalls/Paddock Fee: $30 per night (paid to facility)

  • Primitive Camping: $30 per night (paid to facility)
    * A shower is available for use.

Facility, stall, paddock, & camping fees will be collected upon arrival.

 

Clinic FAQ’s

  • A participant will receive a full refund if cancellation is expressed 30 days prior to the said clinic (minus the non-refundable deposit).

    If a cancellation is received after the 30-day timeline, a refund will be refunded minus 25% of the balance owed, but not to include the non-refundable deposit.

    If a cancellation is received 7 days prior to the clinic, no money will be refunded.

  • A non-refundable deposit is due upon registration in order to secure your spot. The remaining clinic fee will be due 30 days prior to the clinic date.
